With this package you will stay at Muktuk Ranch & Kennel which sits on 100 acres, bordered on three sides by the Takhini River. This location is ideal for canoeing and swimming and spending time with the resident Husky dogs. This package combines unique wilderness setting accommodation with exciting and scenic adventures.

Day 1   Vancouver to Whitehorse to Muktuk Cabins

Thursday: Arrival in Whitehorse on Air North at 1.55 pm (airfare is an additional cost). Transfer to Muktuk Kennels, move into cabins and walk with puppies along the river. Wild Game BBQ in the evening as a welcome dinner.

Day 2   Muktuk Cabins to Haines Junction to Kluane National Park

Friday: Drive to Haines Junction and Kluane National Park, visit of the Park Center and hike in the park. Overnight in Muktuk Cabins

Day 3   Free Day with option to visit Skagway, Alaska

Saturday: Full day canoeing trip on the Takhini and Yukon River with lunch included or you can substitute this activity for a full-day coach and train excursion to Skagway, Alaska for an additional cost. Overnight in Muktuk Cabins

Day 4   Whitehorse to Vancouver or extend to Dawson City

Sunday: Visit of the Yukon Wildlife Preserve & Takhini Hot Springs. Return flight with Air North leaving at 2.55 pm; or option to extend your trip with a visit to Dawson City.

AVAILABILITY
This tour has departures every Thursday but it is subject to availability. Please book at least 2 weeks in advance. This tour fills up quickly as it is limited to a small group size. If there is a date that you would like to travel on that is not listed on our website, please call our office to check availability. We need a minimum of 4 people to run this tour.

TRANSPORTATION
We have a 2-way airfare package available for an additional cost of $500 per person which includes all applicable fees and taxes. Airfare is subject to availability; please book at least 2 weeks in advance.

ACCOMMODATION
The price is based on double occupancy. Single occupancy upgrade is available for an additional cost.

OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES
Optional Activities should be booked for and paid in advance. We can not guarantee availability if you wait to book the day of the tour and the price of activities will increase if you do not order and pay in advance.

- You need to bring your passport which must be machine readable and valid for at least 6 months. - If you are from a country that is part of the visa waiver program (i.e. Japan, Germany, etc.) then you must submit an application for travel authorization at: https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov
